Based in College Station, Texas, we regularly serve customers throughout the Brazos Valley, and in Bryan, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and beyond. Wherever you’re located, if you appreciate authentic reclaimed wood, we’ll work with you to make your project a reality.
We do not provide installation. For larger projects like custom furniture assembly or extensive wall paneling within 200 miles of College Station, we can provide installation resources or work closely with your contractor to ensure proper installation. For standard items like mantels, ceiling beams, and shelving, we provide detailed installation guidance and can recommend experienced local contractors in your area who are familiar with working with reclaimed wood.
Timelines vary by project complexity. Mantles can typically be completed in less than a week. Larger timber orders have a typical turnaround time of approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
Absolutely! We encourage you to browse our project gallery on the website, which features completed mantels, furniture, barn installations, and more. You can see the variety of finishes, sizes, and applications we’ve completed for past customers. We can also provide references from previous customers who’ve completed similar projects to yours.
Yes! We work regularly with contractors, interior designers, builders, and architects, and we offer special pricing for large orders. If you’re purchasing materials for multiple projects, outfitting a commercial space, or ordering in significant quantities (for example, enough flooring for multiple rooms or wall paneling for an entire restaurant), contact us directly to discuss volume pricing. We want to build long-term relationships with trade professionals who appreciate quality reclaimed wood.
That’s completely normal! Many customers come to us with a general idea (“I want a reclaimed mantel” or “I need something for my living room wall”) but aren’t sure about specifics like dimensions, finish, or style. We’ll guide you through the decision-making process, make recommendations based on our experience, and help you create exactly what you’re envisioning, even if you can’t quite picture it yet
That’s a great question and the answer is complicated. Our beams are old and reclaimed from barns. The original craftsmen had their barn in mind when hewing the wood, cutting mortise pockets, rafter seats, joist pockets, and tenons. They did not consider how the wood might be repurposed in the future. With that said, colors can vary from beam to beam and even one side of the beam to another. Mortise pockets and joinery from the original intent will be exposed. My suggestion if you are a picky customer: Don’t try to find a unicorn! There are no beams that are mortise pocket free. Beams will not be perfectly square and perfectly hewn. That character is what makes them so beautiful.
Peruse our photos and see if you like the beams in the photos. All of our projects were from the wood we have in stock. If color uniformity is a concern, we recommend letting us finish the beams. Although the beams can still vary a bit, the variation is minimized with finish. Also, we have 2 products that are mortise pocket free and have much more uniformity, so we have products that can meet your project ideas!
