Reclaimed wood flooring is typically more expensive than premium new hardwood flooring, but you’re getting something far more unique and valuable. While basic oak or maple flooring might cost less per square foot, reclaimed threshing floor boards offer character, history, stability, and sustainability that new wood simply cannot match. Consider it an investment in your home’s value and aesthetic. Plus, reclaimed flooring has already proven its durability over 150+ years, whereas new flooring is an unknown. Most of our wood flooring is engineered. We do this because “wide-plank” flooring is very sought after and when your flooring boards get wide, dimensional stability can get compromised. Engineered flooring stays stable even in our ever changing Texas conditions and doesn’t need to be glued down. Thicknesses and wear-layer changes between products, but ⅝” and ¾” is most common.
Since we do not keep large amounts of flooring in stock, turn around time is 3-5 weeks. After a product has been chosen, a 50% deposit is required. We will then drop-ship the order to your job site and the remaining balance is due.
